Tesato’s Code

The world is run by a conglomerate of five corporations who call themselves HiveCorp. They have stratified society into FreeWillers and CorpHands, controlling one by social media and designer drugs, and the other by brain manipulation. Justice is meted out via peer pressure or assassination by a CorpAssassin.

One reluctant assassin, Lily Tesato, realises she is losing her edge. At the same time, she discovers fellow assassins are dying after killing high-value targets.

When she botches a hit, her employers assign her such a target—a top scientist. Lily knows her days are numbered and the loss of her dearest friend only adds to her pain. Yet she is not ready to surrender to death.

Love and loss cloud her judgment, and only following her code will help her survive.
